Michael Rabey

Michael brings over 25 years of experience in property development, management consulting, business strategy to his role. Since joining Ingenia in 2022 as Head of Development for NSW and Victoria, he has also overseen the Sungenia Joint Venture projects nationwide. In 2024, he was promoted to Acting Executive General Manager of Development, where he continues to drive innovation and growth.

Michael’s expertise spans a range of sectors, including residential, industrial, mixed-use, and seniors living. His career has taken him across both listed and unlisted property businesses, as well as the Banking and Finance sector in Australia and Europe, including a significant tenure with the global consulting firm Accenture.

Within the property sector, Michael has demonstrated significant expertise in development delivery. He has been involved in projects with a combined acquisition and divestment value of $1.5 billion, covering land lease, industrial, and residential land holdings. Additionally, he has successfully led sales and marketing teams across various development structures, including land, seniors living, land lease, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Under his leadership, these ventures have generated a combined revenue exceeding $1 billion.

In addition to his professional achievements, Michael actively contributes to the industry as a member of the Property Council’s NSW Division Council and Management Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a post-graduate qualification in Change Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
